Why the $532 million and $56 million headlines are excluded

Punk #9998’s October 2021 transaction and Punk #1563’s October 2024 transaction used flash-loan arrangements. We exclude those specific transactions from this price ranking rather than treating their headline amounts as ordinary market demand. Other sales of those Punks remain eligible under the same rules.

What about auction sales?

Auction results are a separate evidence source. Punk #7523’s June 2021 Sotheby’s auction belongs in a discussion of major CryptoPunk sales, but an allocated or converted auction value is not a native-market transaction price. This table deliberately ranks the defined native-market series. Christie’s collection history provides additional auction context.

How to use a sale as a comparable

Check the sale date, Punk type and traits, market floor at the time, and whether the transaction represents a clean sale. An Alien sale is not a useful direct price anchor for a common type. USD rankings can also differ from ETH rankings because the exchange rate changes.

Published by PunkPredictor Research. Figures are refreshed daily from our public-market records, subject to source validation. The observation timestamp is shown with the data; this page is a saved snapshot, not a live order book.

Sales tables include positive-price native-market records labeled CryptoPunksMarket, deduplicated by transaction and Punk. Same-address sales and the specified #9998 and #1563 flash-loan events are excluded. Wrapped venues, private transactions, auction allocations and unknown-source records are outside this series. This is not a guarantee that every remaining transaction is an independent market sale.

USD figures use that day's available ETH/USDT observation as an approximate dollar conversion. Missing exchange-rate days remain missing. Changes in the collection floor are not investment returns for an individual Punk and exclude fees.
